TRUNCATE

The TRUNCATE function truncates a string.

Specifies the direction from which truncation is to be performed.

Left	-	truncate the left portion of the string
Right	-	truncate the right portion of the string

Length

Integer

Specifies the number of characters to be truncated.

Setting Length to a value less than one will result in an error.
If Length is greater than the length of the input string, an empty string is output.
